Evangelical Church in Horquetas, Sarapiquí
Following the work in the south, one of the families moved to Horquetas de Sarapiqui. We began to support the pastoral work through dentistry and medical caravans in 2000. As part of the ¨whole person health care¨ vision we have promoted sponsor a cow, pig or chicken project as a way to help improve nutrition in very poor families. This allows families to easily consume a balanced diet with higher protein intake and also allows an additional income. We support a Kid´s club for 100 children, they meet every Saturday for spriritual and recreational activities and conclude with a hot noon meal.
